Obituary

Juan Valencia Vasquez, 84, passed away on December 7, 2021.  He was born on April 28, 1937, in Monterey, Mexico, to parents Pascual Valencia and Guadalupe Vasquez Valencia.

He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar and singing charreria, horse back riding, cocinar carnita asada, pescado frito menudo, tamales, trabajaba muy duro super trabajador migraba a muchos estados a trabajar en la agricultura.  Trabajo en la construction en el puente Queen Isabela en South Padre Island y muchos años en el market center.

Juan is survived by his wife Maria Magdalena Valencia Mendez; children Sara Cardenas Valencia and husband Severo Cardenas, Ezequiel Melva Valencia, Elizabeth Valencia, Juan Valencia, Jr. and wife Rosaura Valencia, Josue Valencia, and Ana Lizette Rodriguez Valencia and husband Carlos Rodriguez; 15 grandchildren Lizette, Leslie, Juan, Pascual, Maria, Andrea, Vicente, Lorena, Ruby, Nathaniel, Samuel, Lisi, Severo Jr., Ezequiel Jr.; 23 great-grandchildren Adrian Jr., Issac, Carlos, Joel, Jose Antonio, Monica, Jessica, Miguel Angel, Jasmin, Isaias, Juan, Joselyn, Jose, Ismael, Cristal, Jacky, Estrella, Mitchell, Natan, Zachery, Cathrine, Ariella, and Leann; 6 great-great grandchildren Andre, Samara, Miguel Angel, Angel, Mateo, and David.

He is preceded in death by his father Pascual Valencia, Mother Guadalupe Vasquez, Brother David Valencia, and grandsons Ezequiel Valencia, Jr. and Vicente Cazarez, Jr.
