Jerry Dudley Green, 84, passed away on October 18, 2020. He was born on September 10, 1936, in Dallas, Texas, to the home of Ralph Austine and Evelyn Irene Green.
He enlisted in the United States Army on November 9, 1959, in Dallas, Texas, and was honorably discharged on February 16, 1962, in Fort Bliss, Texas. He lived in the Mabank area since 1983 and was a self-employed painter.
Jerry is survived by children Dana Green Sissung and husband Michael of Nacogdoches, Texas, James Murphy and wife Debra of Mabank, Texas, Kim Hansen and husband David of Mabank, Texas, and Lance Garrett and wife Beverly of Cleburne, Texas; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister Patricia Weatherly of Quinlan, Texas; brother Jimmy Green and wife Vicki of Dallas, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Glenda Green; father Ralph Austine Green; mother Evelyn Irene Martin Green; and great-granddaughter Morgan Carroll.
Jerry will have a service with military honors at DFW National Cemetery on Thursday, October 29, 2020, at 12:30 p.m.
