Freda Lynne Parker

January 12, 1961 ~ January 18, 2022 (age 61)

Obituary

Freda Lynne Parker, 61, passed away on January 18, 2022.  She was born on January 12, 1961, in Dallas, Texas, to parents Fred and Cora Lee Robinson.

Throughout life, Freda was always getting into something.  Even as she got older, that part never changed.  As a kid, she spent many days running the neighborhood, playing with family and friends, and picking a fight with whomever she could.  She was a feisty one.  One of her favorite things to do was swim in the lake.  In her later years, the days spent at the lake turned into days spent on beaches.  She enjoyed traveling and visiting as many places as she could.  If she wasn’t traveling, she spent time with her family and friends.  This time consisted of thrift shopping, yard selling, fishing, and countless hours playing cards, board games, and poker.  Freda loved her family and friends beyond measure, but she took so much pride in her grandkids and great-grandkids.  She would drop anything she was doing to spend time with them.  She brought so much love and laughter into their lives, not only the children’s lives but everyone’s.  She unconditionally loved everyone she met.  Nobody was a stranger; her door was always open.  Just because she has been called home does not mean her door has closed.  She will forever hold a special place in all of our hearts.  Her love will always be carried with us.

She is survived by her children Jonathan Parker and wife Amanda, April Robinson, and Brian Ritchie; grandchildren Jessica Pisko and husband Bo, Trenton Chapman, Clint Robinson, Bobby Meadows, Dillan Meadows, Alexis Monroe and husband Jon, Haley Ritchie, Jaden Ritchie, Christian Ritchie, Casey Parker, Zack Parker, and Samantha Parker; great-grandchildren Penelope Pisko, Charlotte Pisko, Henry Pisko, Jaxson Monroe, Paisley Ewing, and Riley Mahan; brothers Jay Payne and Tom Robinson; sisters Brenda Ausburn and Cheryl George; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Freda is preceded in death by her parents, husband Earl Parker, sister Teri Robinson, brother-in-law Phil Ausburn, and nephew Gary Payne.

Pastor Steven Payne, with First Baptist Church in Clifton, Texas, will officiate for the Parker family.
